Unity Bank Provides Thanksgiving Breakfast for 150 in Plainfield
Third year executives from the bank have given up part of their holiday to provide a meal for those in need
PLAINFIELD, N.J. (December 16, 2014) – Unity Bank sponsored a Thanksgiving breakfast for about 150 people at the Plainfield Salvation Army, the third year executives from the bank have given up part of their holiday to provide a meal for those in need.
Unity Bank’s Chairman David D. Dallas, President & CEO James A. Hughes and Commercial Loan Officer/Vice President Chris Bono were hard at work in the kitchen with friends and family serving up 25 dozen eggs, 400 pancakes, 20 pounds of bacon, 30 pounds of sausage and 200 biscuits.
“Providing a meal to those in need is becoming a holiday tradition for Unity Bank,” said Hughes. “As a community bank we work to be involved in the community in many different ways, but this is one of my favorites. It brings special meaning to the holiday season.”
