Vehicle Fire On Route 202 Near I-287 In Bridgewater Cleared
The fire had caused heavy traffic on Route 202 and Route 22 on Thursday morning. It has since been cleaned up.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A vehicle fire on Route 202 North near Interstate 287 in Bridgewater caused heavy delays on Tuesday morning. It has since been cleared.
The vehicle fire was located on the northbound side just south of I-287 causing one right lane or three lanes to close, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation's 511NJ website.
Route 202/206 north has reopened at Commons Way due to the fire, said Bridgewater Police.

As a result, there was heavy traffic on Route 202 north from County Route 567/First Ave in Raritan Borough to South of I-287 in Bridgewater Township. The travel time was 10 to 15 minutes, according to 511.
Heavy delays were also seen on Route 22 near the Route 202/206 area in Bridgewater.
