Village Brewing Company To Host Oktoberfest Sept. 21

SOMERVILLE, NJ — Village Brewing Company will host its very first authentic German style Oktoberfest located in the heart of downtown Somerville right on Division Street.

The event is free and the festivities will be held on Saturday, Sept. 21 from noon to 9 p.m.

The Oktoberfest will feature authentic German style food, live music, games and prizes, and Village Brewing Company's Oktoberfest brews.

Fun games and tradition German Stein Holding contest will be in play as well as selfie/Instagram station.

Live music will be featured on the Division Street stage all day and the lineup includes a DJ and a dance area.

Music Lineup:

• 12:30 to 2 p.m. Peter Lister Trio
• 2:30 to 4 p.m. The Bobby Syvarth Band
• 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Joe Stone & Black Forest Blues
• 7 to 8:45 p.m. This Old Engine

Tradition German Steins and Village Brewing Company souvenir cups will be available for purchase.

Village Brewing Company’s Oktoberfest will be open to all ages, but you must be 21 and over to drink. Guests will receive a wristband which allows the purchase of alcohol. There is no outside food or drink allowed.
