Weekly Coronavirus Drive-Up Testing Available In Somerset County
As positive coronavirus cases climb, Somerset County Health Department will hold weekly COVID-19 drive-thru testing through Dec. 2.
SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — As positive coronavirus cases continue to climb, Somerset County Health Department will now hold weekly COVID-19 drive-thru testing through Dec. 2.
As of Monday, Somerset County is reporting a total of 6,614 positive coronavirus cases and 520 deaths. (See the full breakdown below)
The drive-up testing center at Raritan Valley Community College at 118 Lamington Rd. in Branchburg will be open on the following dates:

- Thursday, Nov. 5, from 10 a.m. to noon
- Friday, Nov. 13, from 10 a.m. to noon
- Thursday, Nov. 19, from 10 a.m. to noon
- Wednesday, Dec. 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Residents will need to make an appointment and have a valid form of identification to access the testing center. Appointments can be scheduled online, click here. A physician's prescription is not required. Testing is free of charge and open to Somerset County residents, age five and older.
Residents who do not have computer access, or who would like to schedule an appointment for children age five to 18 years old, can call the COVID-19 testing information line at 908-203-6014, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., not including county holidays.

For the safety, health and security of staff and volunteers, patients must arrive by car. The drive-thru test site will not allow residents who walk-up. Anyone who does not have an appointment will be turned away.
When coming to the testing center, residents are asked to use the main entrance to the college campus, off Route 28.

- Bound Brook Borough: 377 cases (13 deaths)
- Branchburg Township: 139 cases (5 deaths)
- Bridgewater Township: 624 cases (75 deaths)
- Far Hills Borough: 4 cases (0 deaths)
- Franklin Township: 1,821 cases (161 deaths)
- Green Brook Township: 178 cases (32 deaths)
- Hillsborough Township & Millstone: 616 cases (81 deaths)
- Manville Borough: 195 cases (6 deaths)
- Montgomery Township: 210 cases (6 deaths)
- North Plainfield Borough: 497 cases (37 deaths)
- Peapack-Gladstone Borough: 69 cases (1 death)
- Raritan Borough: 159 cases (14 deaths)
- Rocky Hills Borough: 5 cases (0 deaths)
- Somerville Borough: 185 cases (6 deaths)
- South Bound Brook Borough: 114 cases (3 deaths)
- Warren Township: 216 cases (16 deaths)
- Watchung Borough: 117 cases (14 deaths)
New Jersey now has had 240,997 coronavirus cases and 14,564 deaths.
