Whole Foods Announces Opening Date In Bridgewater

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Whole Foods Market has announced it will open its Bridgewater location sometime in March.

"Our Bridgewater store opening is planned for March 2018, and we will have an opening date finalized in the near future," said Tina Clabbers Feigley, Whole Foods spokeswoman.

Whole Foods is looking to hire more than 150 Team Members for the Bridgewater location, and interested applicants can go to wfm.com/careers.

Construction is still continuing on the grocery store, which is located at Bridgewater's Chinmey Rock new shopping complex off Route 22. Regency Centers is developing the Chimney Rock shopping center.

Other nearby Whole Foods locations are in Metuchen, Morristown, Madison and Clark.

Whole Foods will serve as another option to Bridgewater residents with Wegmans on Route 202 South as the only other location open in the township. Stop & Shop in Raritan recently closed its doors in November. (See Related: Raritan Stop And Shop To Close Thursday)
