Workshop On 'Crowdfunding' Offered May 6 In Bound Brook

Workshop is presented by Professor Carla Fallone, and is part of the curriculum at Raritan Valley's Small Business Development Center (SBDC)

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - From Downtown Bound Brook: Registration is now open for a free business workshop titled “Crowdfunding Basics: Raising Working Capital for Your Business."

The workshop takes place Monday, May 6, 2019, from 7:00-8:45 p.m. at Bound Brook Memorial Library, 402 E. High Street, Bound Brook, and is sponsored by Bound Brook Revitalization Partnership.

The workshop is presented by Professor Carla Fallone, MBA, and is part of the curriculum at Raritan Valley Community College’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC). Prof. Fallone operates her own consulting company, Fallone Business Resources, and serves as Adjunct Professor at The College of New Jersey and Training Instructor for SBA Emerging Leaders at Rutgers Business School.

“Crowdfunding is a new and very useful method for small business owners looking to raise quick working capital,” says Lawrence McCullough, Bound Brook Revitalization Partnership’s downtown manager. “This workshop lays out basic principles for building successful crowdfunding campaigns.”

Established in 2001, the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Raritan Valley Community College is a nationally recognized program that provides counseling and training services to small businesses in all industries, including technology, manufacturing, retail, service, wholesale, as well as international trade.
