• Joseph Angelo DePasquale (rutherfordsource.com) — Longtime Budd Lake resident Joseph Angelo DePasquale, 86, has passed away, remembered for beginning his 40-year Union Carbide engineering career after buying his first home in town. He and his wife Janet raised part of their young family here before later moving within New Jersey and eventually retiring to Surfside Beach, South Carolina, where he enjoyed fishing, beach walks, and church service.
