24K Gold Burritos,the Easter Bunny Hops Into Town, and a Special Presentation for Parents

Recent visitors to saw the signature silver wrapping on their burritos turn gold last month, when the restaurant changed the wrapping to call attention to the premium quality ingredients it uses to make all of its food. Now, Chipotle is calling on its customers to wrap what they love in gold or silver foil, photograph and upload the photograph to the company website, and enter its “Wrap What You Love” contest.
Over a five-week period, the company will award a variety of prizes, including 24K gold Chipotle coins and free burritos weekly for the most creative and popular entries, with a grand prize of $10,000 for its favorite submission, based on creativity, popularity and for adhering to the spirit of the contest. The company will also contribute $1 to FamilyFarmed.org for each “love” vote the entries receive (up to $150,000) in support of its programs to help family farmers bring more food to market.

Interested in entering? Visit the “Wrap What You Love” site, upload your photo entry, and vote for your favorite entry. Only have silver wrappers? Entrants can “goldify” their photos on the site. So, go for the gold, and show Chipotle “what you love!”
Easter Bunny Makes an Appearance

will have a special visitor this week, when the Easter Bunny comes to town! On Saturday, April 16, and Sunday, April 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 2:30 to 5:30 p.m., the Easter Bunny will be on hand to visit with the young ones and spread some spring time joy.
Parents interested in preserving the springtime memories can purchase professional photos of the Easter Bunny with their children, and a portion of the picture proceeds will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. A facepainter, balloons and other activities are planned, including a free jellybean guessing game. The winner of the jellybean contest will win a $200 Calandra's gift certificate! So, hop on over and visit. You just may win a prize.
Presentation for Parents
The will host a free program for parents, "Bullying, Cyberbullying and Youth Depression." On Monday, April 25, at 7 p.m., in the Center for Performing Arts, guest speaker John Halligan will share the story of his 13-year-old son, Ryan, who took his life in 2003 as a result of bullying and cyberbullying. Following his son’s death, Halligan left his job to spearhead the Vermont Bully Prevention bill signed into law in May 2004, led the passage of the law pertaining to mandatory suicide prevention education in public schools, and has dedicated his life to sharing Ryan’s story and “the powerful messages of forgiveness and unconditional love" with students and their parents.
Students at and will also hear from Halligan, when he presents “Ryan's Story” during school hours on April 25.
