After School Bus Crashes Into Home In West Caldwell, Driver Charged With DUI
After a school bus crashed into a West Caldwell home, the driver was charged with DUI and 15 counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

WEST CALDWELL, NJ — A school bus driver faced charges including 15 counts of endangering the welfare of a child and a count of DUI after his bus crashed into the garage of a home in West Caldwell Friday morning, West Caldwell police said.
No one was in the home, police said, and no one was on the bus except the driver. However, the driver had recently dropped kids off at West Caldwell Tech High School.
Police said they were notified of the crash at 8:39 a.m. When they arrived, "Officers located a full-sized school bus into the north side of a ranch style Passaic Avenue home. The driver, who was the sole occupant of the bus, was assisted out of the vehicle. He was treated for minor injuries on scene and refused further medical attention."

According to a release authorized by Chief Dennis Capriglione, Anthony R. Stuckey, 37, of Newark, was charged with:
- Fifteen (15) counts of endangering the welfare of a child
- DUI with minor passengers
- Operating a Commercial Vehicle with a BAC of .04% or higher
- Driving While Intoxicated
- Operating a Commercial Vehicle without proper CDL (School Endorsement)
- Failure to Maintain a Lane
- Careless Driving
- Reckless Driving
