CALDWELL, NJ — A "National Night Out" celebration will return in Caldwell for 2026.
The Caldwell Police Department will host this year's event from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 4 at Caldwell University (rear student parking lot), 120 Bloomfield Avenue.
The free celebration is open to the public. It will include food, music, children's activities and law enforcement demonstrations, in addition to safety information from local emergency responders.
National Night Out is commemorated each summer in towns across the United States. The event helps to foster connections between police and the public.
