CALDWELL, NJ — It's almost that time of the year again in Caldwell.
The town's "Halloween on the Avenue" event will take place on Bloomfield Avenue from 3 to 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 30. Participating businesses downtown will be offering trick-or-treats for local children, who are encouraged to don their favorite costume.
Crossing guards will be stationed at intersections throughout the downtown area.
"We remind motorists to remain alert, reduce their speed, and use extra caution while traveling through the downtown area," police said, encouraging pedestrians to use crosswalks and stay aware of their surroundings.
