New Jersey SEEDS (www.njseeds.org)
provides life-changing educational opportunities to high-achieving students
from low-income families. A privately funded, statewide, nonprofit
organization, SEEDS identifies and selects scholars at three different points
along their educational trajectory and has developed three distinct programs
(Scholars, Young Scholars and College Preparatory) to rapidly build their
critical thinking skills and knowledge base. Once students have completed their SEEDS education, the organization places them in leading selective schools and
colleges across the country with sufficient financial aid to allow them to
attend.
