Another Wawa Opens In Essex County: Jobs, Free Coffee
Another Wawa has officially opened its doors in Essex County. For a limited time, you can have a free cup of coffee to help celebrate.
ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Another Wawa has officially opened its doors in Essex County. And for a limited time, you can have a cup of coffee to help celebrate… their treat.
On Friday morning, the company held a grand opening for its newest store at 28 Little Falls Road in Fairfield, New Jersey. The event included free t-shirts, a ribbon cutting ceremony and a “Hoagies for Heroes” sandwich-building competition between the local fire and police departments.
As part of its grand opening, Fairfield Wawa, which is open 24 hours a day, will be offering a free coffee to visitors from Friday, Dec. 6 to Monday, Dec. 9, according to a company news release.

As of Friday, the Fairfield store was hiring for several positions, including customer service associate, fuel service associate and night supervisor. (Learn more)
Wawa opened a store in Maplewood in 2016 to big fanfare from local patrons and elected officials.

The chain of convenience stores – which began in 1803 as an iron foundry in the Garden State – operates more than 840 locations in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Florida and Washington D.C.
