Dog Tails - Senior Dogs Need Love, Too
New discount offered to senior citizens who would like to adopt dogs.
In the summer, we find ourselves with overcrowded shelters, fosters in scarce supply, and wonderful dogs that are slow to adopt.
Sit Stay Learn is offering a special discount from now until August 1. All senior citizens aged 55+ interested in adopting one of our dogs will have their adoption fee reduced from $150 to $50.
All of our dogs come spayed or neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, and vetted prior to being adopted. We will also include a collar and leash for your new furry family member that we hope you'll use for many happy walks around area parks.

This offer is open for all of our dogs, but here are a few I would especially recommend for seniors:
- We have an 11-year-old cocker spaniel that someone left to live out the rest of her life at a kill shelter.
- We have Maddie, age 2, who is currently very happy being fostered by seniors Joe and Linda Wells.
- I have Janie who would be ideal for a senior as she loves to go for rides in the car, is great on a leash, and will curl up at your feet—just happy to be near her people.
- Jenny is being fostered by Amy. She is a dear, but would do best with older people.
The list goes on and on.

We hope you'll give this promotion consideration. All potential adopters will still need to be screened, but approved senior adopters will have an opportunity to love a brand new family member at a greatly reduced price.
