Five West Essex High School Students Selected as ShopRite Stars
West Essex Regional Schools announces Stars winners.

Five seniors have been selected as ShopRite Stars. They are, from left, Schuyler Gardner, Jason Ajmo, Natalie Cafone, Allie George and Katie Minden. Schuyler, a junior from Essex Fells, was recognized for Academics since she had a 4.7 GPA last semester and takes five AP classes. Jason, a junior from North Caldwell, was selected for the Arts because he performed the clarinet in the New Jersey Area Band and in the Tournament of Bands All-Star Band in the 92nd Annual ABC/IKEA Philadelphia Thanksgivng Day Parade. Natalie, a senior from Roseland, was recognized for Athletics after being named “Star-Ledger Field Hockey Player of the Year for 2011” for her 50 goals and 34 assists this past season. She also broke the West Essex record for number of steals in girls’ basketball. Allie, a senior from Fairfield, was recognized for Leadership for serving as president of the SGA and secretary of her class. Katie, a senior from Roseland, was selected for Service to the Community for all of her volunteer work at soup kitchens. will also make a $1,000 donation to Project Graduation to celebrate the students' achievements and display the students' photos in their store.
