Mentalist Visits West Essex Math Class; Teaches Students to Use Memory to Help with Math

West Essex High School parent Lowell Furhman, known as "Manlow," visited daughter Simone's Discrete Math class April 15 to demonstrate his math/memory skills.

"Manlow" invited students to create problems which he solved correctly in seconds. "Manlow" performs at supper clubs and also conducts memory workshops at Drew University. He is a resident of North Caldwell. Simone is a senior at West Essex High School.

"Manlow" is part of "Manlow & Baltus," a mentalist/magic show, which is performed in the area.
