Real Estate Buzz: The Caldwells
There are lots of buyers out there but not enough new homes coming on to satisfy them. Are people afraid to get into today's market or are more people just staying put?
Not too many new listings here in the Caldwells, with West Caldwell leading the pack with 5, and in an unusual happenstance Caldwell having none.
The Caldwells are crawling with buyers, but there seems to be an unusually low amount of inventory out there. Ten homes went under contract last week (including the one pictured at 6 Sylvan Way in West Caldwell), several of which I happen to know had multiple offers.
Are people just staying put or are people waiting in the hopes prices will rise? Are you considering putting your home on the market, but are holding back?
