Science Mobile Visits West Essex Middle School
WEMS Seventh Graders have fun in the science mobile.
The National Science Center Outreach Program Science Mobile visited West Essex Middle School on Monday, April 22. Students visited the mobile during their science classes and got to try out some hands-on interactive and fun science demonstrations. Experiments incorporated sound, light, vision and night vision with demonstrations using the Van de Graaf generator, plasma ball, Tesla coil and acoustic glass breaker. Many students were asked to participate in the fun. Steve Navarro, a sgt fist class in the army stationed in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, led the presentation in the science mobile.
