Spiced Pear Compote
This recipe for a simple and healthy pear compote is effortless and adds versatility to many "ordinary" foods.

My goal is to share recipes that are simple, versatile, delicious and most importantly healthy! I recently fell in love with this spiced pear compote dish! It’s hassle free and super flavorful. Feel free to add this compote as any topping. You can place it on top of granola, cereal, oatmeal, ice cream and much more! Be creative and enjoy!
Ingredients
2 tsp. honey

½ tsp. vanilla
¼ tsp. ground cinnamon

1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
4 pears (pared and chopped)
¼ water (warm)
Directions
*Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- Combine all ingredients in a medium mixing bowl
- Add the warm water and stir ingredients together
- Soak 10 minutes
- Place ingredients on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper
- Bake for 30-40 minutes (slightly brown in color)
