Trinity Academy Welcomes Author Lisa Funari-Willever

Award-winning New Jersey author Lisa Funari-Willever made a visit to Trinity Academy on October 4.  She spoke to students in grades K-8 to remind them that reading can be both fun and educational. Titles of her books include Chumpkin, The Easter Chicken and the Nicky Fifth chapter series. In the popular Nicky Fifth books, Nicky Fifth and friend T-Bone explore New Jersey and readers can track his travels on a map. Chumpkin was selected as one of Laura Bush's favorite children's books in 2003.  Trinity Academy faculty and students called the assembly 'dynamic' and 'fun.'
