West Essex Appoints New Director of Guidance

New Director of Guidance Excited to Begin School Year at West Essex.

As Carole Clarke assumes her new post as the Director of Guidance at West Essex Regional Schools for the 2012-13 school year, Clarke said she is thrilled to be a part of such a wonderful School District. Clarke, a resident of Verona, previously worked as a lead counselor and testing coordinator at Boonton High School before coming to West Essex. She has also worked as a principal at Camden County Technical School and vice principal at the Eleanor Van Gelder School in Edgewater.

"I am so excited to be here," Clarke said. "I am looking forward to getting to know staff and students and see what the needs of the schools are."

Clarke plans to continue the tradition of a West Essex College Fair in the fall and arrange several speakers to talk to students about different careers and college planning.
