West Essex Culinary Students Engage in Cupcake War
West Essex High School students decorate cupcakes in culinary 1 class.
There were cupcakes of animals, apps and a frappuccino. There was Cookie Monster, Big Bird, an octopus and even the cover of a Beatles' album.
It was the West Essex Cupcake war, an annual event where students in Ms. Jill Schneck's Culinary 1 classes use the cake decorating unit skills they have just learned to decorate cupcakes.
Their work is then judged by West Essex staff with cupcakes selected for creativity and execution.
