West Essex French Club Makes Crepes

The West Essex High School French Club made crepes after school.

The West Essex High School French Club meets after school every few weeks to celebrate everything French. At a recent club meeting, students learned from Club Advisor Madame (Mrs.) Ruth Bolger how to make and enjoy crepes in one of the school’s culinary classrooms. Social Studies teacher C.J. Rauch even stopped by to give students a lesson in crepe throwing as he flipped a crepe high up in the air entertaining students. Perhaps the best part of the meeting was enjoying the delicious crepes afterwards. Students garnished their crepes with chocolate spread, powdered sugar and whipped cream. Now that the students know how to make the crepes, Madame Bolger said the club could make the crepes after school to sell for a club fundraiser.
