West Essex High School Craft Students Create Recyclable Art

Projects range from a Ziploc quilt to a coffee can wind chime.

Students in Sheryl Tekel's Crafts Class are using recyclables to create unique works of art.

"It's called West Essex Goes Green!" Ms. Tekel said. "April is Earth Awareness month so all my students brought in recyclable products and picked an art project to make."

Projects range from a Ziploc quilt, coffee can wind chime, inspirational stones, crayon mosaic, recycled t-shirt paintings and jewelry.
