West Essex High School Robotics Club Wins Awards

The West Essex High School Robotics Club worked hours and hours to build "Derpanzer," the robot which was able to compete in obstacle courses and other events at the North Jersey Robotics Competition on May 14.
The hard work was well worth it.The team took home three awards at the competition: first place for best in show (which means it has the best design and concepts) and third place for obstacle course and third place for oral presentation.
"I am very proud of the accomplishments of the West Essx Robotics Club," said Club Advisor Richard Bettini. "We worked very hard and worked late into the night and on Saturdays to build this robot."
