West Essex High School Student Receives Key Club Award

Jo-Ann Dixon, president of the Kiwanis Club of Caldwell-West Essex, presents Heather Krannich, who will be a West Essex High School junior in the fall, with the Key Club Leadership Award.  "I think Heather is a role model for other kids," Ms. Dixon said. "This is what we hope for Key Club - that students discover their own leadership capabilities."
Heather ran the West Essex Key Club elections and served as club secretary this past year. She has helped organize all of the group's fundraising activities and plans to attend the annual convention in Florida this summer. Key Club Advisor Jill Shneck and High School Principal Gary Suda congratulated Heather on the award last week at the high school.
