More than 46 colleges will be represented at the third annual West Essex Regional High School College Fair Oct. 25, from 7 to 9 p.m.
Carole Clarke, Director of Guidance and Student Services for the West Essex Regional School District, is organizing the fair for high school students from West Essex as well as students from Cedar Grove, Glen Ridge, James Caldwell high schools and Mount St. Dominic Academy. “This is a wonderful event to expose our students as well as students from area high schools to a variety of colleges from across the country,” Clarke said. “Students can begin the college admission process by exploring the programs offered at each college and meet one-on-one with college representatives who can answer their questions.
“The fair will help students find the colleges which offer the majors, athletics and extracurricular activities they are interested in and meet their family budget,” Clarke said.

Last year, more than 800 students and their families attended the West Essex Regional College Fair. This year, Clarke said she expects there to be an even greater turnout. “We are very excited about how well this event has been received by our students and area schools.”
The event will take place in the high school west gym and library. For information, e-mail klaricci@westex.org.
