Fairfield Municipal Court Judge Frank Pomaco presided over the “April Fools” Mock Trial Exercises, State of New Jersey vs. Willy Wynn, in the Auditorium on April 17.
Students were selected to perform as jurors, witnesses, assistant prosecutors and assistant defenders.
Fairfield Prosecutor Marcella Wilson served as prosecutor for the trial. The rest of the eighth grade watched the trial in “the courtroom.”

The case involves a confrontation between two boys at a high school. Later, the home of one of the boys is vandalized and the other boy is charged with trespassing and vandalizing the home.
