West Essex Middle School students play Book Bingo.
More than 40 seventh and eighth grade students from completed their Book Bingo cards, reading science fiction, romance and even magazines to get the chance to enjoy a Library Pizza Lunch party and compete in Book Bingo.
Students who won at bingo then got the chance to pick a prize ranging from a gifit certificate for pizza in the cafeteria to stationary. Anthony Rubino picked out some hand lotion for his mom, just in time for Mother's Day.
Ashley Vazquez enjoyed the bingo game, the pizza lunch and reading all of the books so she could participate in the fun. "I think this was a really great activity," said Ashley, an eighth grader from Fairfield.

"You get to play bingo with your friends," said Daniella Ignaicio, a seventh grader from Roseland.
