West Essex Middle School Students Raise Money for Hungry Children in "Hunger Hits Home" Walkathon

West Essex Middle School seventh and eighth graders spent a week raising more than $600 for the "Hunger Hits Home" Walk-a-thon. Students then walked for more than 30 minutes on April 23 and 24. The $600 will provide more than 6,000 meals for hungry children, according to organizers Ms. Christine Sell and Ms. Erica Serio, teachers at the Middle School.
