West Essex Middle School WE Help Character Education Club Helps Homeless

West Essex Middle School students made lunches for the homeless.

Members of the WE Help Character Education Club made peanut butter sandwiches and packed the sandwiches and snacks in paper bags. The 100 or so lunches are for homeless people living under the bridges around New York City, according to Mrs. Theresa Imhoff, middle school guidance counselor and advisor to the WE Help Character Education Club. Kathy Pigott from Community Kids assisted Mrs. Imhoff with the project. Cathy Gibbons, a member of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, will distribute the bag lunches to the homeless in New York City.
