West Essex Regional Schools Host 'Hunger Games' Party

Students conducted word searches, trivia contests and even tried archery.

More than 45 West Essex High School and Middle School students celebrated the opening of The Hunger Games movie with a “Hunger Games” party in the High School Library after school Tuesday.

Students conducted word searches, trivia contests and even tried archery. Kids feasted on cupcakes and talked about their excitement for the movie.

"This party was really fun!" said Megan Groome, a seventh grader from Roseland. "There are a lot of activities that got me excited for the movie."

"It was so suspenseful, that I could not put Suzanne Collins' book down," added Lisa Giuffre of Fairfield.
