West Essex Students Inducted Into World Language Honor Society

West Essex High School Students Inducted Into honor society for Chinese, Italian, Latin, French and Spanish.

More than 90 West Essex High School students were inducted into the World Language Honor Society for academic achievement in French Spanish, Italian, Latin and Chinese at West Essex High School. The new inductees walked into the High School Auditorium holding candles in the ceremony May 30. This was the first time students were inducted into the new West Essex chapter of the National Chinese Honor Society. West Essex High School Chinese Teacher Cynthia Ni said she worked to add the new Chinese Honor Society at West Essex High School because she “thought it was important to recognize the achievements of my Chinese language students who have made a strong commitment to learning the Chinese language and culture.”

“I am thrilled to have a Chinese Honor Society be a new addition to the World Language Honor Society!” Ms. Ni added.
