The North Caldwell Board of Education welcomed its newest board member, Valerie Buccino, Tuesday night during the board's annual reorganization meeting.
But other than that, nothing much is new about the school board serving the North Caldwell district for 2011-2012.
Board Member Robert Kessler was sworn in for his second three-year term Tuesday. The board also re-appointed Steven Hadley and Mary Wojtowicz to serve once again as President and Vice-President respectively. Kessler made the nomination for both officers.

Their families witnessed the swearing-in ceremony performed by Business Administrator Victor Hayek Tuesday.
Both Hadley and District Superintendent Dr. Linda Freda thanked voters for approving the 2011-12 school budget.

“It was a substantial margin,” Hadley said, referring to the 410 voters approving the budget versus the 229 who were opposed.
The $12.3 million budget represents a 1.06% increase over the current budget. Taxpayers in North Caldwell will see their bills go up on average by $154.
