Calandra's is The Rotary/Kiwanis Caldwell Street Fair 2014 Premier Sponsor

#StreetFair is THIS Sunday, October 5, 2014, noon-5 PM and Calandra's will be there as our PREMIER Sponsor-Thank you Calandra's!

“A Premier level sponsorship is the highest sponsorship available in 2014,” said Tim Blattner, Rotarian and the 2014 Caldwell Street Fair Sponsorship Chairman. “Calandra’s has shown support to the fair, the community, and to the Rotary and Kiwanis clubs. Having the Calandra Family as a sponsor and a member of our community is greatly appreciated.”

There’s just four words to remember if you want authentic, quality and old world Italian specialties: Calandra’s Bakery and Restaurants. They are consistently recognized by publications such as Suburban Essex magazine and NJ Monthly magazine along with Zagat, Trip Advisor, and Open Table. This past year, Calandra’s took home first place in five categories in NJ Monthly’s “Best of NJ” Reader’s Choice Awards. Best Bakery, Best Bang for your Buck and Best Italian Restaurant were amongst the group, but Calandra’s Market & Deli located inside Calandra’s Italian Village in Caldwell really shined taking home Best Caterer and Best Italian-style Deli.

One of the many reasons why Calandra’s Market & Deli is top-notch: “I treat each customer like they are my only customer”, said Market & Deli manager, Daniel Fernandez. “And when we cater an event, I feel each platter has our signature on it. Everything has to be special, we take pride in quality and presentation.” So whether it is a corporate luncheon or a backyard BBQ, Calandra’s Market & Deli ensures that you will leave a happy hostess.

And because no good meal should go without dessert, you will find classic Italian and French pastries handcrafted daily such as cannolis, sfogliatelle and other sweets ready to tantalize any palate at the Caldwell Street Fair on October 5th from noon to 5:00 PM on Bloomfield Avenue. Proceeds from their sales will benefit West Essex UNICO to raise money for their projects.

For the past 23 years, the members of The Rotary Club of the Caldwells and the Kiwanis Club of Caldwell–West Essex have brought Street Fair to the Caldwells. Each year gets bigger and bigger thanks to community supporters like Calandra’s. Bring your family and friends and join 30,000 guests for a great day that features arts & crafts, new merchandise and food vendors from all over the tri-state area. The fair has a beer garden, rides for the kids, a 50/50 and so much more –all packed into just one Sunday afternoon in October.
