CALDWELL, NJ — The James Caldwell American Legion Post #185 recently got the chance to present the colors at Caldwell University’s inaugural sprint football game. Will you be among their ranks the next time they wave the flag?
During the Caldwell University Cougar’s first-ever game at James Caldwell High School’s Bonnell Field, the American Legion members donned military uniforms for a pregame ceremony.
Caldwell University added sprint football to its sports program last year. Sprint football is a full-contact, intercollegiate, varsity sport and has the same rules as regular college football, except that all players must weigh 172 pounds or less.
