In Caldwell: 'Art on the Avenue' is Seeking Contributors for May 30 Event
Free community art show and sale will feature sculpture, photography and fine crafts.

The Caldwell Merchants’ Association is seeking artists to participate in “Art on the Avenue,” a public art show and sale featuring live music, taking place on Saturday, May 30, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
According to a release, the event will include fine art, sculpture, photography, fine art crafts and an “En Plein Air - Paint the Town” category.

Artwork will be judged by professionals and cash prizes awarded. Fencing is provided for the convenience of artists to hang their work.
The rain date for the event is Sunday, May 31, from noon to 5 p.m.

STUDENT ART CONTEST
In conjunction with “Art on the Avenue,” the Women’s Club of Caldwell is sponsoring a student’s art contest, open to all students in the township, kindergarten through twelfth grade.
The theme of the contest is “Shop Downtown.”
All students entering artwork are automatically included in a free drawing for art supplies. The drawing will take place at 2 p.m., at the student exhibit on the day of the show. Students must be present to win; ribbons will be given to first, second and third place winners.
Winners will be announced by 2:30 p.m., on the day of the show. Winning artwork will be displayed in the Caldwell Public Library from June 1 to June 12.
