Brown also said the town has made progress.

“We have done great things and continue to move forward with major projects such as 80 Bloomfield Avenue, the sewer litigation rectification, purchase of a new fire truck, improvements to the green, storm water improvements throughout town, addressing affordable housing, and a redevelopment plan – just to name a few,” he said.

Brown also praised the borough’s police, fire and DPW departments for helping to keep Caldwell “running smoothly.”

Mayor Garrett Jones thanked borough residents, council members, town committee members, municipal employees and community volunteers for helping to make 2025 a successful year in Caldwell.

“We all work wonderfully together,” he said. “We have a good time.”

“If it was not for responsible citizens that stepped up to the plate, I can't even imagine where our town would be now,” Jones added.
