Caldwell Business Owner Receives Honorary Degree for Autism, Earthquake Relief Efforts

Caldwell University commends Michael Kambourakis, owner of Terzako Furs.

Michael Kambourakis, owner of of Terzako Furs in Caldwell, received an honorary degree from Caldwell University during the school’s recent commencement ceremony.

According to a release, Kambourakis “was integral to founding Search Day Program in Ocean , N.J. to assist those on the autism spectrum and the Dominican Republic Relief Organization to help displaced Haitians after the 2010 earthquake.”

According to a release, for the first time in the university’s history and due to growth, the school held two ceremonies this year, awarding approximately 380 students with undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees.
