Caldwell Catholic Prep School Gets Visit From Cardinal Tobin
More than 300 students at Mount Saint Dominic Academy in Caldwell got a visit from Cardinal Joseph Tobin.

CALDWELL, NJ — More than 300 students at Mount Saint Dominic Academy in Caldwell, along with their faculty and school staff, recently got a chance to add another notch to the year-long commemoration of the school's 125th anniversary with a special guest earlier this month: Cardinal Joseph Tobin.
Tobin, the archbishop of the Newark Archdiocese, visited the Caldwell-based Catholic college prep school for women on Jan. 10 to celebrate the Feast of the Epiphany and congratulate the school on its 125th anniversary.
Tobin’s celebration of the liturgy was attended by the school’s students, staff and members of the Board of Trustees, as well as the leadership of the Dominican Sisters of Caldwell.

In his Jan. 10 homily, Tobin noted the significance of observing the Feast of the Epiphany in conjunction with the conclusion of school’s 125th anniversary.
“Epiphany is Greek for revelation, the unveiling of something, the presentation of a mystery,” Tobin said. “And for 125 years, that is what Mount Saint Dominic Academy has been about, unveiling the gifts all the students are to your families, to the church, to the world, and to yourselves.”
