Caldwell Catholic Prep School Grads Earn $14.7M In Scholarships, Grants

CALDWELL, NJ — The numbers are impressive: 87 students, 167 college acceptances and more than $14.7 million in scholarships and grants. Those are the totals from the class of 2017 at Catholic college prep school Mount St. Dominic Academy in Caldwell, which held its 122nd annual commencement earlier this month.

Among the graduates were several West Essex residents:

Caldwell: Nina Fiore will be attending University of Scranton.

Essex Fells: Kennedy Secoy will be attending King’s College and Katherine Sullivan will be attending High Point University.

Fairfield: Nina Lombardi will be attending Pennsylvania State University, Samantha Pagliuca will be attending Fairleigh Dickinson University, and Grace Sheehan will be attending United States Naval Academy.

North Caldwell: Colleen Graham will be attending Pennsylvania State University, Dominique Macaluso will be attending Barnard College of Columbia University, and Kaeli Rizzo will be attending Georgia Institute of Technology.

Roseland: Melissa Julian will be attending Saint Joseph’s University, and Catherine O'Brien will be attending Marist College.

West Caldwell: Grace Barrett will be attending University of Vermont, Victoria Castiglione will be attending Marywood University, Avery Corcoran will be attending Trinity College, Emma Davison will be attending College of the Holy Cross, Maeve Faherty will be attending University of Southern California, Catherine Morrissey will be attending The Catholic University of America, Lindsey Patterson will be attending Fordham University, and Liana Zaino will be attending Muhlenberg College.
