In Caldwell: Charity Auction to Benefit Homeless Outreach Programs

First Presbyterian Church will host April 18 event.

A beach house at the Jersey Shore, a weekend in New York City, or daylong fishing trip are just some of the items available for auction at this year’s “A Second Bright Night to Make a Difference” charitable auction being held by the First Presbyterian Church at Caldwell, 326 Bloomfield Ave.

The auction, which includes a silent auction, cocktails and appetizers, and a number of tricky tray baskets, will be held on Saturday, April 18. Silent auction items will range from paintings, professional services, jewelry and crystal. The live auction begins at 8 p.m. for higher-profile items, including boating trips and vacation home rentals.

Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Doors open at 7 p.m., and participants must be 21 and over.
