Caldwell Church To Hold Annual Coat, Sweater Drive

Caldwell, NJ - The First Presbyterian Church at Caldwell will hold its annual coat and sweater drive from April 3 to April 17.
According to a news release, the church will accept gently used coats and sweaters at the church office at 326 Bloomfield Avenue in Caldwell.
“The church will accept coats for men, women and children,” organizers stated. “The garments should be clean and free from rips and stains. It is preferred that the donated coats and sweaters be placed in plastic shopping or garbage bags.”

This will be the 17th year that the church has held the drive. All of the donated coats and sweaters are given to St. John’s Church in Newark, which provides services for in-need residents, including a soup kitchen and medical care.
