Caldwell College Student-Athletes Named To CACC Spring All-American Team

Fifteen athletes at Caldwell College were named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Spring All-Academic Team this spring.

A record 120 student-athletes from all 14 CACC member schools in the five championship sports were named to the All-Academic Team, which requires a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher. Student-athletes also must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically to be eligible.

During the 2012-2013 academic year, Caldwell College had a total of 26 student-athletes named to the All-Academic teams by the CACC, which names an All-Academic Team for the fall, winter and spring sports seasons.

The following Caldwell College student-athletes made the All-American Team this spring:

Baseball

• Robert Bennetti, junior, of Laurence Harbor, majoring in education and history

• Stephen Dodd, junior, of Milford, Pa., majoring in criminal justice

Softball

• Jacklyn Bates, junior, of Waterloo, N.Y., majoring in communications

• Alyssa Calderon, sophomore, of Fontana, Calif., majoring in psychology

• Briana Gaspich, sophomore, of Brick Twp., majoring in criminal justice and psychology

• Kristen Knorr, sophomore, of Monroeville, majoring in biology

• Kourtney Wilson, senior, of Islip, N.Y., majoring in Spanish and elementary education

Men's Tennis

• James Stark, junior, of Wayne, majoring in business administration
