CALDWELL, NJ — Kwame Alexander, a Newbery Award-winning children’s author and bestselling creator of 28 books, recently paid a visit to fifth-grade students at Lincoln Elementary School in Caldwell.
During Alexander’s visit on April 4, local students got a chance to mingle and meet with the lauded poet, educator and New York Times bestselling author.
The visit coincided with a week-long book fair at the school hosted by Follett Book Fairs, which has partnered with Alexander on a new literacy initiative, “All Books for All Kids.”
