Caldwell’s Bulk Storm Debris Collection Winds Down April 20

Here's how to get rid of yard debris and tree limbs in Caldwell.

CALDWELL, NJ — Spring is here, but some lingering signs of winter – and the damage from Winter Storm Quinn – linger in Caldwell in the form of branches and broken tree limbs.

According to a recent Caldwell Police Department advisory:

“As our public works department continues to complete clean-up of fallen trees and branches from Winter Storm Quinn, we thank residents for their patience and ask for their cooperation during this process. Residents can continue to place piles of branches (no stumps) neatly at the curb line, (not in the street) or on their front lawns just inside the sidewalk. Please do not block sidewalks, parking spots, or fire hydrants. In order to help facilitate quick pick up by public works we ask residents, if they are able, to cut branches down to 4-foot lengths.”

The last township bulk pickup of storm debris in Caldwell will take place on Friday, April 20. After that date, residents will be responsible for their own clean up, municipal officials said.
