Caldwell Seeks Nominees For Women’s Community Impact Award
The award honors an individual (or individuals) for their contributions as a professional, volunteer or "agent of change."
CALDWELL, NJ — The Borough of Caldwell is seeking nominees for its 2025 “Women’s Community Impact Award.”
The annual award aims to recognize women who have made “outstanding contributions to the community.” It honors an individual (or individuals) for their contributions as a professional, volunteer or “agent of change.”

“Residents are encouraged to send nominations to members of the borough council who will make the final selection of award winners. Current salaried employees or elected officials cannot be nominated. Women who are Caldwell residents or who are not current residents but have made significant contributions to our community are eligible. Areas to be considered may include work for charitable, volunteer, philanthropic, and cultural institutions; service in the military; as well as economic, social, artistic, scientific and educational contributions; or being a ‘first’ woman to break through a barrier.”
Considerations for selection may include:
- Commitment to improving the lives of women and/or women and girls in the community
- Empowerment and inspiration of other women as a mentor, role model and/or friend
- Commitment to community service
- Demonstration of positive contributions to the lives of women and/or girls
The deadline for submissions is March 3. The Women’s Community Impact Award will be presented at a borough council meeting in March.
