Caldwell Street Fair Draws Big Crowd, Including Mikie Sherrill
Caldwell's annual Street Fair drew an enthusiastic cross-section of residents for 2018, including U.S. Congress candidate Mikie Sherrill.

CALDWELL, NJ — Caldwell’s annual Street Fair drew an enthusiastic cross-section of residents for 2018, including a special guest: U.S. Congress candidate Mikie Sherrill.
The annual street fair - a project of the volunteer members of The Rotary Club and the Kiwanis-West Essex – saw its 27th incarnation this year. As in the past, the fair featured arts and crafts, children’s rides, local vendors and, of course, food.

Sherrill, who is running for a seat in New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District, wrote that she “had a great time” at the event. The former prosecutor and Navy helicopter pilot took time to meet with three local candidates in the 2018 election: John Kelley (who is running for mayor) and Frank Rodgers and Christine Schmidt (running for council seats).
