Caldwell Area Students Learn Compassion Through Charity

Students at West Essex Regional Middle School in North Caldwell are getting some lessons in kindness and compassion, school officials say

NORTH CALDWELL, NJ — Students at West Essex Regional Middle School in North Caldwell are getting some hands-on lessons in kindness and compassion, according to school officials.

West Essex Middle School administrators recently shared a series of photos on social media that highlight several charity-minded student projects students have embarked on over the past month. Projects included:

  • “Worked with Toni’s Kitchen on the Neighbors Feeding Neighbors project. Filled 75 backpacks with nutritious food for in-need children.”
  • “Helped in-need communities through the collection of sporting goods.”
  • “Made patrol care kits for our troops.”
  • “Wrote letters to troops and first responders.”
