Caldwell University Honors Educator with Veritas Award

Caldwell University will honor President Nancy H. Blattner with its 30th annual Caldwell University Veritas Award on Friday, March 27. Blattner will be recognized with the Excellence in Leadership in Higher Education distinction.

According to a release, the annual award honors alumni excellence in all professions. Awardees are chosen by an independent committee of alumni based on their fulfillment of criteria that reflect the mission of the Sisters of St. Dominic, who founded the university.

Blattner was chosen to receive an honorary award this year for her contributions to ensuring that the legacy of the Sisters of St. Dominic is sustained through the work of the university, a release stated.

The annual event will be held in the Cougar Den in the Student Center on campus. Cocktails will be at 6 p.m., with dinner at 7 p.m. Valet parking will be available at the Student Center loading dock. Tickets are $95.00. For tickets and more information, contact the university by Sunday, March 22.
